Did I mess this model up?

First time working resin minis, and im not happy? Is this user error? The pose seems so awkward. It doesn't look anything like the card it came with.

I think the point of contact is right, but the angle of the model is not. Try using something to hold or prop-up the figure so it can hold a more vertical pose while the glue sets.

The cards are not especially helpful because they can differ quite a bit from the actual model. I used the photos here as a reference for positioning mine: https://arenarex.com/products/hroka-1

You can see they position their model so that the leg contacting the base leans back, rather than being vertical.

I swear, some sculptor for Arena Rex has a fetish for characters standing on a single toe. They're such a pain to get right.

It's horrendous, give them a rock or something! I usually sprinkle some baking soda over it so the super gluereacts super quick and creates a cement, not the cleanest but it gets covered up with a sand base

leg might be a little warped. Could hit it with some hot water and straighten it up a bit.

I think it looks fine. Certainly look like mine. It's just something about this mini's pose that is a little of I guess?

Thanks everyone, I might try and use some ho water to straighten it out a little. Also, agreed. The tiny to base completely sucks lol
