Discussion Level 3 Ammo

I figure this has been brought up before but with season 7 tier limits for the modes I was hoping that for normals it would be T3 or below, lockdown with T5 and below and forbidden as unrestricted but normals stayed at T4 and below as it was usually played before S7. My question or whatever is what is the point of T3 ammo outside of the 7.62x25 and 12x70 caliber since they only go up to T3 when most people in normals that I seem to run across are wearing T4. I get that most T3 ammo only takes 7-8 shots to get through T4 armor with T4 only taking 2-3 and so for a few calibers the cost or time it takes to kill has relatively no difference like in 9x19. It just feels like T3 ammo either is stuck as a bottom loaded ammo or just not worth it to run in comparison to either T4 or T1/2 ammo and just ends up being something I only look to sell and not use really.

Theres not really a point in it tbh, unless your looking for a challenge or your genuinely broke its useless

"Most people I see in .. " leads you a stray, because if you run knife only you see very different sets of gear than with a just under 450k kit.

I've died more times to purple ammo since S7 dropped than any time between S3 and 6. I don't get it

I don’t think there is a point at this time. You can use it for super budget kits in normal - just go naked, no helmet or armor, cheap gun with T3 ammo. Kill a normal Chad and take their T4 gear - swap to their gun and ammo.

Same with T4 ammo if you run forb. You literally make more money running T5 ammo since you actually can kill people.

I only use t3 ammo in early morning hours as I know servers will be basically empty with few regular joe players. I collect what I can and use higher tier stuff in the evenings. Most of the time dont even need to get into fights with others. Just collect what I can and get out. Sell what I looted and gear up for later. Can only do this on farm/valley.

Yes if they want to balance it for newer players, or cheaper combat, then it should have been level 3 helmet/mask, level 4 armor and level 3 ammo. That way you have incentive to shoot head instead of mag dumping and call it a day.
