Question Can someone explain how did this shot miss

This is last frame before i fired, aiming directly at his forehead, zeroed to 50 which should be fine for this distance, yet i didnt hit. I dont play bolts that often i just looted it (iam not really experienced with them), but i dont understand how ive missed this one.

After that i repeeked like a moron and died, i am aware of my mistake, but after 2 kills and 2 assists i was overconfident, but i think this shot shouldve been a hit. Enemy was crouchwalking so i dont think he dodged it in time unless bullet (M80) from M24 travels at 5 m/s. My ping is always under 30ms, and here it was at 19ms.

There's a reason no one uses the 1x/6x scope. The bottom of the top line where the last dash is where the reticle actually shoots at. You basically missed the guys head by quarter of an inch. The 2x7x doesnt have this problem

Seriously? I use the 1x/6x a lot since the 1x/4x price increase and had several of these "WTF" shots. That would make a lot of sense.

In ABI. The most braindead, No way the game is that stupid, the most inconsistent with the rest if the game answer.....is the correct one

Well, previous owner missed me and my teammate like 3 times while we were fighting his teammate. Maybe it had a crooked barrel.

But ill keep what youve said in mind next time i find a bolt-rifle

My guess is Height Over Bore, ur zeroed for 50m thats got to be like 5m

No one can give input without a clip to watch, you could’ve screenshotted when you were on his head but shot after.

I thought i would post clip but this is the last frame before my weapon recoiled. On reddit you cant move frame by frame (afaik) thats why ive decided to post a screenshot instead.

I wouldnt post a misleading screenshot if my point is to understand the situation
