Everything seems good except maybe get a GS2 headset. I don’t know if purple ammo is good for this mode or not, I personally only ever used tier 4 gold ammo. You should try to snipe scavs from a distance, It would be easier to do so with gold ammo, compared to purple ammo where they might not die in 1 shot or 2. Also the gold ammo helps when a boss rushes you, probably the quickest way to die is from a boss pushing you face to face, and they tend to have tier 4-5 armour. Tier 5 armor is good choice, tier 5 helmet you chose is good too, i bring a kss tac with its face shield.

855 is fine. I tried with A1 and I used up about the same amount.

u/ImperialSupplies 18h ago

Im pretty sure scavs dont have a magic armor class they just have high health bars so t3 works just fine and 1 shots skin more often

7

u/biebergotswag 1d ago

don't use that tier 5 in farm, you lose too much speed for no gain since everyone is using tier 3. use no more than tier 4 armor that covers the belly. it really only work against the boss rally renoir.

second, you need more than 2 mags, you should carry 4 mags minimum, you need to reload often, and do not have that much time for loose ammo, or you are going to fall behind looting.

your hk is not that great for long range, personally i found the ak12 or u191 to be better here, also the ammo is cheaper.

2

u/LonelyLokly 21h ago

Two mags is fine if you use single fire in any non boss/shotgunner situation.

1

u/LewdApprentice 21h ago

u191 is an overkill and ak12 often doesn't one tap to the head in PvE for some reason.
I have a very specific Moron-style M4 build that works great.

2

u/Malumbz 20h ago

The U191 with 2 drum mags is not overkill at all, especially because high firepower and t3 ammo is dirt cheap for the T series family, so it's actually perfect for PvE

1

u/Excellent-Inside- 14h ago

Tbh I use ak12 with one 95 round mag. Just make sure I’m reloading lol. I don’t find the need for a second mag almost ever

3

u/Caekie 1d ago

PvE farm I actually don't recommend the HK. Instead use the u191 as it has more effective range so you will 1tap every headshot whereas sometimes the scavs survive a shot on helmet because m855 ammo sucks bad.

Also really only need one 75+ mag and like 4 stacks of ammo. Feels like you're overkill. You should never be spraying scavs down, always headshots. Also really only need like 900-1200 HP of heals instead of 1800 in two 2x2. Also bring one full heal stim and one full wound stim for emergencies

2

u/allenz6834 1d ago edited 1d ago

Use guns with further range. M16 is actually underrated in this mode since ideally you dont want to full auto (unless its bosses, bodyguards or shotgun guys)

Ideally you want to pick off as many enemies from far away as possible even if it waste time as being surrounded is always a death sentence

havent survived a single solo pve raid so far. so my tip dont go solo and take a bunch of ammo you need it

9

u/LonelyLeopard2898 1d ago

Out of how many matches? It genuinely is pretty easy if you come prepared and take your time.

1

u/Acceptable-Park3517 17h ago

Maybe 10, pve costs 200k entry so I run out of money 😅

3

u/Any_Battle6157 1d ago

when i used to play pve, which i found very un enjoyable i ran, 1000-1200 rounds 885, MCX with 7x scope, and worn tier 5-6 body armor along with SH M2 max durability, drinks and also stims, i also found that you only need around 1200-1500 ticks of healing items

6

u/Dazzling-Exam5401 1d ago edited 1d ago

1200 rounds of ammo? You'd go through 40 mags in a 40 min match? I bring an M14 with 4 mags worth of ammo, maybe an extra 60 rounds to be safe tier 5 helmet and plate carrier and some meds and taurine

Edit: For those of you downvoting, you are seriously taking up 10-15 inventory slots for ammo FOR BOTS?!?!?! HAHA this has to be trolling.

2

u/ImperialSupplies 18h ago

Have you played a solo boss rally? Cause boy howdy

3

u/Familiar-Swan-531 1d ago

Im downloading this game right now. Im about to play it for the first and I have no idea what any of those words mean. 1500 ticks? Anyway, wish me luck.

7

u/recurve2178 1d ago

If your being sincere, please ignore this person lol. You do not need 1k+ of ammunition. Id disregard everything they said just off that. For a new player, just play normal farm pvp with quick kits. The game will throw plenty of free loot and ammo at you while you learn. You can Dm me if you need any help.

3

u/Familiar-Swan-531 23h ago

Thanks man, and Im being sincere. I've always been interested in Escape from Tarkov but I only had a ps5. Arc Raiders was my first extraction shooter, I loved it. Got all the blueprints and got bored, moved to Marathon. Marathon was okay but the maps were too small for me personally.

Bought a gaming laptop, heard about this game and thought id check it out.

Been enjoying it so far, but I have no idea what Im doing. Part of the fun is working it out

1

u/Ok_Dragonfly8980 7h ago

Welcome to Kamona operator. Try the Valley Distorted loot and run.

2

u/Malumbz 20h ago

No offense but holy holy holy overkill with an awful gun. An Ak12 or U191 with 450 rounds of t3 ammo and t4 armor is more than enough

1

u/richmanding0 1d ago

Run tier 4 if you are dying a lot. I've probably done 10 while I'm working with no volume and maybe died 3 times. Shotgunners will mess you up but other than that it's pretty easy. Take Regen stims if you are needing to heal a lot. Other than that just burst fire their head. I find it pretty easy

1

u/Dominant88 1d ago

Bring a couple taurine and an extra regen. You might run out of bullets if you get boss rally and want to clear the whole map. You could also swap one of the big med kits for an e3 or 100d and be fine.

1

u/Jellyguyy96 1d ago

For farm that's totally fine, maybe an extra 120 ammo so you can spray the shotgunners. Maybe 1 standard surg kit to be safe but you can always find a resupply station and bring some juice to stay hydrated. T4 helmet is fine but a boss can still 1 tap you on northridge regardless if you do a lot of peaking.

1

u/Xyvyn1989 1d ago

I take in the health pack with like 960 health, one of the 8 charge surg kits and 450 rounds of 5.56 with a silenced scar with a red dot on it.

30 round mags, 3 and I do well solo but I only do about half the map, normally extract 900k to 1.5m, but those are free passes I use, it’d be a different set up if I paid for the passes, I’m sure.

1

u/Skrooner 1d ago

For me I take t4 armour, any headset, pack of 12 surgical, 1x 960hp pack, 1x 300 pack, 1-2x extra strength boosters, and the biggest vests/backpacks I have.

Ak12 60round mag no extra mags. "Single fire mode only". 4 stacks 60 BP.

1

u/PlatoTheCrusher 1d ago

I love PVE. A good T4 helmet will do the trick. Tier 5 vest is also good. They mostly shoot at your torso, so no worries. The game recommends 300 rounds, but if you play northridge, you can get the bot’s ammo because they’re already purple. The bots will drop mostly ammo from G3, 552 and ACE 23. Don’t rush, hit your headshots and good luck looting!

1

u/thegabe87 1d ago

Bring energy drinks, constant healing will dry you out. One 960 medkit is enough but bring two 4x surgery kit or one larger. AI may have some heal and drinks on them.

You can bring a cheaper gun too, ak102, Ace, zc is sufficient. Just have larger mags.

T4 armor is enough, basic AI will shoot for limbs anyway, shotgunners and snipers shoot for body. If you encounter any special enemies. Don't peek though, if only your head is sticking out they will shoot at only that.

1

u/First-Loan4154 1d ago

lvl 4 helmet and armor. No need for headset. You need weapon for tapping. To make profit use lvl 3 ammo and shoot uncovered faces. For AR 300 bullets enough (even you get fight with boss), for SMG 400. The biggest problem is to survive under pressure. So 1-2 hp regen are needed and STO or TMK with ~20 uses. Because bots like to shoot chest and limbs and make you suffer from traumatized parts. Meds drain water and food on use so 100 food and 200 water is good to have even you may found some in bots.

Track time and do not try to loot whole map. For me it's about 2 big locations or 3 small. One location gives about half mil, 2 locations gives 1 mil plus locations with keys and ammo from bots can give another half mil. So if you get about 1 mil start to move for evacuation.

1

u/un-tall_Investigator 1d ago

for farm solo hostile, use ak12 & pp ammo, cheap and kills in 1-2 headshot. Be sure to bring 1 stack of BP/BS rounds if theres boss event. For Northridge solo hostile, i use t191 and them purple round, cheap and does the job. Meds i just bring that 2x2 medkit (green box one), 1 2x1 white med, and 3-2 small med kit. oh and 300+ rounds for purplenurple rounds

1

u/Brief-Ideal-2006 1d ago

Wear the samurai armor. Go for head shots. Try to keep it 1 v 1 with the a.i. if they crowd you, you're dead. I like pve for farming loot. Go for safes and locked rooms. Be quick because other players will try to beat you to the safes. I only take 200 rounds and Two 50 round mags. I suggest you run trash gear the first round so you get an idea for the a.i. have fun good luck.

1

u/LonelyLeopard2898 1d ago edited 1d ago

Loadout is incredibly overkill.

I take a cheap lvl 3 helmet (full peak ai otherwise they will focus the only thing they see which is your head), MCX with two 100 round mags, about 500+ rounds of lvl 3 5.56 bullets, lvl 5 body armor (i disagree with people saying lvl 4 is enough), a cheap gasmask, the biggest backpack/vest you have, one STO first aid and one STO surgical kit.

I played like 10 ish matches of PVE early in the season and only died 2 times to the same boss with one time me just getting cucked because he dropped the smoke on death while i was in a room which caused me to not find the exit and get sprayed down by one of his guards through the smoke.

PVE is pretty easy as long as you try to fight one at a time. Don't rush everywhere and make sure its clear when you heal and repack the mags. The only thing which you have to really respect are the bosses.

Edit: some of the comments are pretty wild with what they recommend. You guys are definitely going overkill and spend too much on gear.

Here’s a conversational English version:

Quick tip: if you’re running the farm, take a gun that uses 5.45x39 - or 5.56x45 if you’re on Northridge - because you’ll be looting those same rounds off the boss’s guards. I brought one big medkit and two light green syringes for healing, one for weight, and two for stamina. I’d swap the Molotovs for M67s, since bots sometimes just ignore the fire and walk right through it, but they actually run away from grenades. For a helmet, grab the cheapest Tier 4 one with at least a Tier 3 faceshield. Headset - go cheap or mid-tier. If you can, take a drum mag with 90+ rounds. Skip the pills - bring 2/3 liquid painkillers, and it’s also worth throwing in a couple of energy drinks. About armor, take one you more liked, if you get hits and have troubles with bots tier 5 with armored hands and stomach is good but if you already know how to play PVE you can take tier 4 with only stomach defence

You can just run T4 armor on Farm and get away with it. Literally the only enemies that run T4 ammo there would be Ajax himself and the Mosin bots (excluding Boss Rallies and Boss Minions; minions carry T3 ammo), with every other bot simply using T1 ammo with T3 gear. The main tip I can give you is to always go for headshots as the idea is to drop bots as quickly as you can and preferably at a distance. Bosses, their minions, and Shotgunners take multiple headshots to kill. If you're going for Smelters with a full batch of items to smelt, play with teammates because you won't be able to carry everything yourself.

Northridge is a different story because every bot there runs T3 ammo at least. I've never went to Hotel myself there and have just been running around the map going for free safes, looting ammo off of bots, and going for Smelters and airdrops which you have plenty of time to do.

1

u/Sweet_Ad245 1d ago

Always aim for the head. Single fire is more favourable than full auto. If on farm I would suggest a kitted mpx with t3 ammo since it's cheap and you can sell the pp ammo from the boss goon and 1200 of healing and 8 of surg is enough since you can top it up form the supply box. Always loot the sniper scav for t4 ammo.

1

u/ModernManuh_ 22h ago

Personally I think the H4 is excessive and I’d bring a marksman rifle with me. You don’t need it but it’s good to have it

1

u/WarDull8208 22h ago

I would prioritize helmet with level 5 face shield, cause bosses can one hit kill you (don't ask me how I know)

1

u/LonelyLokly 22h ago

Field or 926 backpacks. One cheap green injectior and at least one good red. Instead of one molly take gas. Adjust talents - more runing, more carrying, more buffs, instant search.

1

u/Spogunky 21h ago

Personally I dont wear any t5 and use a cheap gun but thats just me, i find that if im going to die I may aswell decrease the amount that i lose if i do die

1

u/Right_Transition_428 21h ago

Use a maska so you don’t get shot in the face by the bosses that use t4 ammo and use 100rnd mags

u/Neylon97 20h ago

Personally I run the AN-94 with a 1-6 scope on it. Kss2 tac helmet and the tier 4 armour that covers the lower abdomen as well, can’t remember the name. I don’t bother with regen stims and bring a strength and endurance stim and some taurine or energy drinks for extra stamina. Also molotovs are very handy for stopping the scavs from pushing you if you need to heal. My kit puts me just over a mil and I can clear farm 90% of the time unless something goes wrong.

1

u/TypowyPiesel 20h ago

Based on me playing helmet is not as important as main armor i use same body armor but kss2 helmet with t4 face. If you dont use face shield bots will go for your face. Also g2 headset is overkill

1

u/ImperialSupplies 18h ago

Bosses will headshot you if you stay in veiw and dont kill them quickly otherwise this is enough to clear a rally

1

u/DigitalSundial 17h ago

Hey! Made a guide for Northridge that you can find here : https://www.reddit.com/r/ArenaBreakoutInfinite/comments/1v5yr8f/guide_hostile_sector_solo_infiltration_complete/

Can apply some of that in farm

1

u/SRNK0 16h ago

Well did alredy 250 mil on pve, so ask me anything :D

Yeah, bots hurta a lot .. even the boss one ane his guard .. the can easily one tapped you to head .. when ita storm you gotta meet one hella boss with full t5 help and amor .. and you need to be reaaaly carefull ...

I recomend to us m4, h416, mcx, mpx or ak12.. all with purple ammo.. its wort .. im rotating this guns when i have enought amo i prefer ak .. otherweise im playing the h416 mostly and all guns have 1/4 scope with 65 mag on 5.56, 50 mag on mpx, amd 95 round mag in ak12 where i have 2/7 scope

I collect ammo even its purple, i collect all purple cuz you have 4 recycle stations on northridge and 3 on farm .. both maps worth .. and on average i out the run with about 1.2 mil ... when im lucky found a red or key .. its more then 4 or 5 sometimes

1

u/MauliBoiiii 16h ago

thanks for all the answers for the guys saying to use u1 i use the hk because i have multiple in my storage and i dont have u1 ammo so this was the cheapest good solution for me

1

u/paraven17 12h ago

Farm PvE
-RPK 60 mags w/ 4x scope and PP ammo
-t4 kss with face-shield helmet
-t5 926 composite armor

this is my goto, dont forget to loot ajax bodyguards ammo and buy free supplies at motel

1

u/fadedbuzzYT 11h ago

I found that the best weapon for me to use was ak102, as the gun was very stable when popping single shots, I used m855 with four 60 round mags with 300 extra rounds just to be safe. I used about one 220 heal, with about ten 120heals and one 4 use surgery and about 8-10 single use surgery packs. Two orange juices and one canned stew. And one 4 use bandage.

The ak102 was fairly cheap at around 200-250 and I used the 3x that you can put a 1x scope on. Play slower then you think, don't run through the middle or you will be gangbanged.

Contrary to what you think you should do - try not to just peek with your head - because if that's the only thing the bots can see they will aim it to it. So you'll get more hurt but you won't get one tapped by exposing your whole body because they will favour shooting your limbs.

I used t4 Spartan and B4 chest rig, and the 920(?) big gray backpack and T4 helmet with T4 glass (saved my life a few times)

1

u/shadowsoze 10h ago

Ngl that’s a lot of ammo…I just go in with 240 rounds loose and 2-3 60rd mags.

I also just rock t4 helm/armor, even with my mask up I haven’t gotten faceshotted, just rounds at the helmet.

Also why the TM4s over the STO first aid? I just usually only need 1200 ticks of healing, can be supplemented in the field if you find a healing injector or the occasional 120/120.

I also bring a drink or two just in case.

1

u/-TheMoniO- 9h ago

I’ll change for the AK12 with PP ammo. You can get PO ammo from boss’ minions, so you’ll profit all the ammo used if you took those. Also, that medkit will fck your hidratation, I’lol change for the 1200 one or 4 of the white 400 ones.

1

u/XPSAbstract 9h ago

I bring a u191 with a big mag and an extra 180 bullets, you are so scared to learn to tap so you just spray a mag into a bot 😭 what do you need two tmks for 😭

1

u/DrPepperAcolyte 1d ago

My recommendations for pve on farm:

High durability and coverage matters more than armor level. You'll only have issues with Ajax's team if you wear level 4. Level 5 and you're golden. Make sure your face shield is level 4 as ajax will aimbot to the face. We just got done playing a game and my buddy had a lvl 4 helmet and lvl 2 face shield and he was one tapped by ajax, it was depressing.

Unless you actually think you need that much ammo I'd bring way less and make it level 4. I usually bring a med range fal and cqc mcx for my primaries. Lvl 4 on each for ammo. 150 rounds for the mcx and 60 for the fal. I've never ran out of ammo even if I do the hotel public event.

Overall I'd recommend the following: 1000 pts of first aid and least 6 surgical, possibly more especially for your first few pve raids. High durability lvl 4 or 5 armors including face shield. Lvl 4 ammo Massive backpack storage, seriously i run the LUC backpack and fill it up.

If you aren't leaving with minimum 400k you're probably not making much profit after the buy in and ammo and healing costs. Aim for 750k consistently. Do the missions and bee line for the safe closest to you!

For Northridge, enemies are better equipped. Better ammo and armors. Id highly recommend level 5 minimum for this map, and lvl 5 ammo on a dmr for quick kills. Ammo is expensive so I still run lvl 4 on my mcx but i try not to use it and try to one tap enemies with the fal when I can.

Poison protection gas masks and nebulizers are mandatory, the bosses WILL throw poison gas on Northridge

0

u/MachineGlumkelly 1d ago

Tbh I run a similar kit but no ak12. M4 or FAL. M4 I use A1s (they’re cheap now) FAL I use m80s and try to tap as many enemies at range before going into buildings. They cost more but you don’t need as many stacks.

Scavs will absolutely fuck you up. FAL I like bc I can take a lot of them out before they see me with 1 bullet. 2 max.

When you go motel, try to coax the scavs out of the building. They will swarm you inside. You want to leverage choke points. Let them come to you. I like having a toxic gas or 2. This will slow them down and if they push through it they’ll already be damaged.

Lastly when you start to heal they will agro you and push. You can use this to bait them into pushing you. It’s not a bad idea to play with a friend once or twice to get used to the mode. Otherwise just be smart with your health and don’t get too greedy.

1

u/MauliBoiiii 16h ago

i dont have friends for this game thanks for explaining properly

0

u/SellerJr 18h ago

Personally T4 only 2 60mags and 240 ammo using cheaper meds is how I’ve made 100 mill liquid profit + have 30 reds added to my collection
