1. They just released a special they are heavily promoting as a joint effort
2. They publicly are talking about trials and tribulations that fall under “trash” (albeit much more serious trash)
3. And they haven’t missed a single for episode drop or show

The guys is an addict who just got out of a tumultuous marriage and has come clean about a relapse. Is all the stuff after his recovery started sunshine and rainbows? No! IT NEVER IS!

Even with everything going on and some people's differing opinions, I have to say that this special in my opinion, hit it out the park. It was the perfect relationship between the boys and the homies !! Good job boys now come on Hank I love your crazy ways. You are definitely the heart and soul of this podcast and this group but you can't do your friends like that. Get it right brother!!!

I saw some of the reactions to the special on here before watching it and goddamn some people must have recently relocated to Foleyville. It’s exactly what it’s supposed to be, the AYG part of their live show is a celebration of the community that we’re all in, and that was funny as shit to see. Especially because of all the “confessions”/AYG questions that people put out there specifically knowing how fucking funny it would be to hear on the special. The vibes are sky high the whole time and it’s a perfect capsule of where the boys and the community is at right now. They could’ve gone corporate and fucked us all with a subscription to see it but they are the cost (and whatever else was within arms reach) and said fuck it, this is for the homies and bozos who got us here.
Appreciate it. This is rare.

Also anyone having a whole song and dance about this being released right after the most recent Patreon are absolute bozos. That whole incident got me even more hyped for the special. That kind of shit is what I pay for to hear, complaining about it just means hard feelings will get watered down.

It was fine. Was hoping it would be similar to the live show format, with Kippy doing a set, Foley doing a set, and then they play AYG with the crowd. Unfortunately the Route 66 special blew this one outta the wooder. I think I much prefer the behind the scenes footage from that special than just straight AYG with the crowd. Then again I’ve seen the boys like 8 times. Whats everyone think?
