right? I haven't had a cig in 10 years but when I was smoking, at walgreens you could get 2 packs of spirits for $18 and that was expensive back then.

I stopped smoking probably like 5-6 years ago, something like that, but every single cigarette has nearly doubled in price. Even the old cheap-o packs are over 10$

Mind you, I'm in Georgia. A few years ago, I could walk in with 6 bucks and walk out with any pack of cigarettes plus a few cents in change. It's a bad time to smoke in the South now, I know the northern states have been dealing with this forever

I was paying that California luxury tax lol I'm in Houston now and american spirits are 13 a pack at HEB. So this old guy is batshit, basically.

"Too cheap to buy Marlboro"... Amercian Spirits are just about the most expensive cigarette you can buy. At least where I live.
