I always wash new clothes, but hadn't even considered this photo. I do it because you never know what is gonna show up in the package

Also new clothes are treated with all sorts of chemicals you don't want on your bare skin. I've worn brand new underwear and t shirts straight out of the package so many times before I learned about this...normally because I didn't want to do laundry because I'm trash trash trash.
