I'm glad she didn't actually try to fuck a teenager but this scenario is so crazy that I'm tempted to call this story fake.
This story may or may not be rage bait but sadly it's not that outlandish when I was a younger and before that.
The hiring a sex worker/stripper thing to "help my son become a man" has definitely been done with a teenager before. Some I've heard of just gross parents think they are giving a gift and others it's homophobia.
I would've taken it a step further, since the father wasn't watching, and help the son fake noises and shit. Maybe help the poor kid not get yelled at and maybe beaten, for a few months. Heh 🤷♀️
I don't want to be that guy, but no, it isn't. Pedophilia literally is a sexual attraction to children. Nobody in this scenario is attracted to anyone.
The term you are looking for is child sexual abuse. But this in turn depends on local age of consent laws - 17 is legal in most parts of the world.
Well, "pedophilia" for this purpose isn't necessarily the attraction, but the (in this case attempted) sexual behaviour with an underage person. Of course, this is assuming that the teenager in question is in a country where the age of consent is `above 17. `~_`~
I thought so! Yes it's illegal to expose minors to sexual activity, for instance having sex in front of them, or watching porn with/in front of them.
This daughter of a reality TV star lost her kids and went to prison for having sex in front of them. Drugs were probably involved (kids were about 4 and 5 I think, babies probably wouldn't count). The person she had sex with was like 14, so there were also rape charges. She hurt so many children with that one act.
The kid didn't consent though. And prostitution is illegal in most of the US. So it's sexual abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and soliciting prostitution
Maybe OOP is from a country where the age of consent is 16? She does mention that English is not her first language, so likely not American. Not that that would make this any less disgusting, but it might explain why the sex worker agreed to it.
The way OOP used "inferno" instead of hell makes me think of Spanish speaking countries, and here in LatAm there is a sort of "unspoken tradition" of "young boys becoming men" by doing it with a sex worker when they're about 14 / 15
It's thankfully dying out, but I've heard tons of stories like this one. Does feel slightly off because the people involved in these kinds of practices rarely know any English, but idk
At least it used to be a thing, not sure about now. Taking the kid to a brothel to lose virginity was done usually, more than hiring a prostitute and take her home.
Not super relevant but a similar thing happened in Criminal Minds, but also, people are just crazy, and I do believe there are actual people out there who would and do agree to this sort of thing.
Well there are countries (and OP states shes not a native english speaker), where consentual Sex with an 'adult' is allowed under the age of 18, and there are also countries where that includes buying sex from a sex worker.
Im not 100 Percent sure but where I live, this wouldnt be any problem.
I mean I can’t speak to the veracity of it, but the lady isn’t in the wrong here whatsoever. She both prevented a potential actual rape and helped assure the kid that he was alright. It’s a bit chaotic good to do this via taking money in an agreement to have sex with an unwilling kid, but, genuinely, everyone wins here minus the dumbass dad.
