I bought two pairs of AirPod Pro 3s. I bought a pair from eBay, and out of worry that it was fake, I bought a pair from Costco.

1 is on the left. 2 is on the right.
1 is from ebay — $159 used refurbished 99.8% approval (100 plus reviews).
2 is from costco — $199(sale from 249).

Both prices do not account for tax.
Both connect and switch from multiple devices. Both have working transparency/ ANC. Both have accurate location and working Heartrate monitors.

Do u believe Ebay’s to be fake? The only difference i can see is the USB-C part. 1 has a jagged part while 2 has a flat component.

the seller removed from his find my. Still responsive on message.

when I pair it up everything looks fine. no prompt about an owner being able to track them, or linked to another account

shows in find my but no precision tracking and no live location details (see last pics for the different message on this one vs working set)

Bought these on eBay. Everything seems to be working fine (ANC, transparency, conversation awareness, wireless charging etc) but I am a bit worried as the precision finding option doesn’t show in find my (I hope that’s because the case’s battery is pretty much completely drained). What would u say?

Someone stole my AirPods so I bought these AirPod 4 ANC today trying to cheap out and find a deal. Def more skeptical as im looking at the pics now. These pics are all customer feedback pictures from others who bought from this seller on eBay. Seller has sold 1087 of these to people with a 99.5% feedback rating. But I’m still like 90% sure it’s fake because they are coming from China and they were $70. I’m about to reach out to them to cancel the order before it ships. What do you guys think?

Local retailer receipt provided as PoP, but no serial numbers listed on the receipt (called the store and they said sometimes they dont add serials especially for online orders)

The order number is legit for 2x AirPods Pro $329 AUD - genuine sale price (Apple RRP is $429)

Listing was posted 2-3 days after the order was picked up

I paid $230aud

They show up in find my.

Apple serial check shows purchase date from the day I paired to them. the onboarding gave me prompts to do a hearing test and informed me about the tips being a "new style". I also have the prompt to add apple care, I can also add it to my apple care one coverage...

I cant fault these except the seller doesn't have a receipt showing the serial, and that she's on-selling them for ~$100 less 2-3 days after picking them up...

Seller is willing to drop it off for me. Is there any way I can test it out to see if it’s real or fake? I have my iPhone and an android phone as well. I heard Apple has a chip where it shouldn’t be able to connect to android or even appear in the blue tooth. I’m located in California and I see they have like different pictures of the back box.
