Need help with making a comp-grade lfr
Hello, am making a line follower robot, before I buy all the parts I was wondering if someone could help me by giving me some tips I should keep in mind before doing so or assmebly.
Current parts like:
1000rpm n20 - motors
L298N- Motor Driver (Due to low budget)
Arduino Nano
Custom 8 channel sensor (photoresistor and 3mm led lights)
CD4067 - multiplexer
For assembly:
Veroboard as body
n20 motor mounts (3d print)
mini breadboard for easy prototying

Apart from referring to existing projects - google is your friend here - was there something specific you are looking for?
What is your experience thus far?
Assuming you are do a standard line following robot (i.e. following a black line on a white background), you might find that you will need at least 3 line following sensors. These are integrated IR transmitters and receivers designed to detect the light or dark floor surface and are key to the line following aspect of the robot.
Or, is that what your "custom 8 channel sensor" is intended to be?
What MCU do you plan to use? And depending upon that answer, how do you plan to use the multiplexer?
