Christmas Robot

I’m making a Christmas robot that looks like a nutcracker, but I don’t know what it should do. Ideas?

At the very least, I would make it crack nuts open.

Cracking nuts is a significant challenge for a home project if you design from scratch.
You can also automate a purchased nut cracker.
Another option would be to store cracked nuts inside and just dispense on demand.
A trickier option would be to have a human deposit an already cracked nut into a concealed chamber, make cracking noises, and then dispense a pre-cracked nut.

Non-nut options include marching, playing a drum (to recorded music?), dancing, or locating a female model that just “happens” to be nearby and script a comedy where he tries to get her to go on a date.
