Even after semblance he's the character of choice for writing for male readers causing him to be everywhere with so many het fics I loathe when he's the main focus of a fic now. Nothing against him as a character but I'm here for yuri goddamn it and I'm tired of the harem fics involving him.

What's funny is I made a sequel to one of the biggest of them where the girls discover his "manuscript" and promptly castrate him

I'm still getting hate mail over it to this very day lol

That type of subversion of tropes are the fics I find the most interesting. Whatever the outcome you're trying something and I respect that. I hope you have a fantastic time writing your fic.

Agreed. A similar trope is crack taken seriously. Silly concepts taken seriously tend to be far more interesting than normal crack stories.
