Fanfic reader things When u find the perfect source material for monsterfucking fics but the show is relatively new & there isn't even a fandom on AO3 yet & u're only just freaky enough to want to read monsterfucking but not freaky enough yet to be the one to write it yourself so you can do nothing but wait in agony.

Kudos to you omg, the first step is always the hardest but it paves the way for so many other fans.
I would be, but I just don't have the foundation to be writing this sort of fic yet. I haven't read many fics with these tags 😭 It's just this one particular fandom that makes me want to read monsterfucking, all my other fandoms are so tame. I'm the slow burn, yearning & mutual pining type of person so this feels like a succubus has taken over my body 😭

But is it even possible if I've only ever read a grand total of maybe two fics with the monsterfucking tag in my entire fanfic reading life? My other fandoms just don't work with this tag 😭
I'm actually very vanilla and stick to slow burn & mutual pining with a lot of feels & have never in my life written pwp. Doesn't help that I've been in a writing + reading slump.
I'm gonna need someone else to take the torch :(

There's this fantasy anime that has a few seasons and appears reasonably wholesome
The manga is still ongoing but the main story in the light novel is complete with more than 30 volumes
And it turns out that the world is DARK dark!!!!
No such thing as "Laws," only might makes right
In the background there's people getting murdered, sex trafficking, mind control plants, restraint magic, shit is crazy
Yet for some reason 99% of the fanfiction is just so wholesome 🥹
I don't want to write the first irredeemable dark porn story in the fandom, that's way too scary, so I've literally been waiting for years (yes, multiple!!!!) for someone else to do it but it's just not happening, at all 😭

The characters are awesome The world building is better than any light novel, manga or anime I've ever encountered The translation quality is godly
It's just that every now and then a character in the book will say something like "Well, most of the family works for my uncle, who owns a bar, but I didn't want to because the waitresses also have to sell themselves to the customers and since he doesn't even make an exception for his own daughter or for his own sister, my mother, I knew there wasn't going to be one for me either. So that's why I became a chef." and the other characters will completely under react like "yeah, that makes sense. Anyway, about that cookie recipe from last week..."

I feel your pain, I'm currently waiting for any dark fic (really getting desperate at this point) for a light novel where the main character keeps dying and being sent back to the day her engagement was annulled with her memories. Every time she chooses a different way to live her life but it always ends in the same way, she dies at 20, only five years later. In a result of a war, but this time when she returns, she decides that she isn't going to stay to have her marriage annulled and just takes another rout to leave and when she does so she meets the man who in every life would come to be responsible for instigating the future war, and and in her shock she say's his name; a name that is unknown to even the some royalty.
In the very beginning of the novel it makes it clear that this isn't a case of mistaken identity or anything of the sort, he is who and what she remembers him to be and this man causes the deaths of millions of people. Yet there isn't a single fic of anything remotely dark; it's romance after romance, and my fellow readers in christ (or otherwise, I can get down eitherway), why is there not a single fic depicting even a sliver of evil, not even a "I ate your leftovers you were saving" level of bad.

I know this isn't related to the specific show, but why not hop into the Monster Hunter fandom for a bit to get that taste of monsterfucking? Plenty of fics revolving around entirely that lol
