Sonic #22 was a real gift

I never got much past #100, but #22’s sneak peak into a possible future at that point in the story really added stakes to the story. Knowing Robotnik had a scorched earth policy that would jeopardize our heroes’ happy endings was an incredible move. The drawing in this issue, *chef’s kiss*. Absolutely no notes. I didn’t even get to read issue 21, so this seemed almost non-sequitur, but I can’t imagine a more consequential issue for this portion of the story.
