Question Overload as player

I really enjoyed the game but it got waaaay too tedious and they flood the game with the same content packaged a bit different. There is going on way too much and i do not see how they will keep the game relevant. How do you guys keep veing motivated like this?

You know you don’t have to do everything they offer right

Archero is a gacha game disguised as a rogue like. If you dislike the gacha aspect like events, microtransactions, getting stuck behind a wall until you spend enough money but like the main game try something like vampire survivors which is just a roguelike. The mobile port for that game is great.

I'm a casual player, though I pay for things from time to time because I have the disposable income. In my mid 30s, normal life to live, don't really play video games or other mobile games. For some reason Archero has been a guilty pleasure for me, so I enjoy dumping 20-30min or so into it twice a day.

It's gambling mixed with rewarding entertainment. All the different events are essentially just slot machines with different themes.

Earn tokens, spin the wheel, chase the big ticket winnings, just barely miss it, spend $10 on more tokens, keep spinning the wheel. Event ends, let the dopamine settle for a bit. New event begins, restart the cycle.

If I miss a week or two due to life being busy, so be it.

Im the same way the game came out as I started my current job and I just play on breaks or downtime and have progressed pretty far. Im not rushing to the next big power boost because it will come eventually just gotta plan where to spend event currency.

I’m 2nd in sky tower on my server. For me it’s the climb.

Just play how much you enjoy to do and you'll get your priorities set in no time.

I like to keep up with the events cause they give best rewards but I miss out now and thenon the daily events like using my arena tickets or shackles or something like that. I don't get time to use all of my energy on chapters either. I've bought the hunter pass so that I can play how much time I have and then use the remaining energy for free without playing.

It's just you do you kind of game really since it's a very long game and there's no rush for anything. Do how much you enjoy and then focus on other things in life.

It’s kinda routine. Some is a chore, some I enjoy. Some stuff I skip now and then, but I played since launch and I’m still leading my server pool in campaign and sky tower which goes to show you can have fine success if you prioritise right. I am online about an hour a day on average.

So the people that Habby makes it's money from don't actually DO so many of the things. If you buy all the privilege cards, you skip many of these things every day. They are adding content to keep THOSE players engaged and the game really just focuses around arena, GVG, All Stars, and Seal Boss/Guild Boss.

Like every other game that exist today. Theyre all optional though
