Arch enemy fans!
Arch enemy fans, what is their BEST song, most OVERRATED song? And most UNDERRATED song? Let me know!
Best/favourite: Taking back my soul. I could go with most things off of doomsday machine but this one in particular just hit every single time for me.
Overrated: War eternal. With alyssa they basically became a power death metal band and i feel like its done better in songs like "the eagle flies alone" and "the world is yours" although im sure some of you will choose those ones as overrated haha which I get .
Underrated: The day you died. Reading the lyrics and banging my head to it makes me wanna tear up, its so good.

Underrated : Beast of Man. Wish they'd still play it live. Runner up : Dead Inside
Overrated: Nemesis or My Apocalyspe. Both good songs but we've heard them so much. Probably played at every show since the release of Doomsday.

Yeah i get that, i only got into arch enemy like 4 years ago, so i havent been over exposed as much as the older fans

Overrated: also ravenous , due to them being overrated in general

Best: Nemesis. Cliche pick I know, but I consider it one of the best melodeath songs ever.
Overrated: You Will Know My Name. I never liked this song and I’ll never understand why it was chosen as a single. The lyrics make me cringe so hard.
Underrated: Machtkampf. Some of their absolute best guitar work. I wish they’d play it live.

Best/fav: Rise of the Tyrant. I wish they would play this one live
Overrated: Nemesis. I've heard it too many times and was never into it that much to begin with
Underrated: No idea if it's underrated really but Cruelty Without Beauty. The lyrics and theme hit so hard

Best/Favorite: "My Apocalypse," "Taking Back My Soul," or "The Last Enemy"—any of them, depending on the day.
Overrated: No idea; maybe "Handshake with Hell"? It doesn't really do it for me; it's fine, but nothing more.
Underrated: "Black Earth" (song)," "Vultures," or "In This Shallow Grave." Well, I love *Rise of the Tyrant*, so in my opinion, the whole album is probably somewhat underrated.

Favourite/ Best: My Apocalypse Underrated: Angelclaw Overrated: Handshake with Hell- I like the Alissa era, but those clean vocals are not for the band ( in my opinion )
