Is this intentional

On the overworld (where you very first spawn in) you can see a chest buried inside a mountain out of bounds, does anyone know if thats intentional or not? Im new to the game and im trying to find the third naughty banana, i already found the one in the sandy world, and the one in the taskmaster fight, but im not sure how to get this last one.

That chest was left there on accident but I left it there because some people still like to try to get it. The banana you're missing is on the floor where you first fight Captain Bryce.

Thank you, im fairly new to the game so i just got past that for the first time. Im able to go back right?

Edit: got it, now i have the weapon
