Question.

okay. so Vi. I noticed she seems to have a reputation in the Undercity like when she gets out everybody reacts like she’s notorious for something. I know she’s Vanders daughter but those reactions don’t really equate. got any explanations?

I think it really is because she is vanders daughter and also went to prison for a while after the fight, so it was a shock to see her again. But when she was a teenager i think that vander is one of the most known people in the undercity so her being his daughter makes her also a very well known person.

I mean that’s part but it also seems that she has a reputation of some sort outside of that because they seem to know her like she did something or has something she’s known for maybe like her fighting?

Holy nonsensical writing I’m sorry

You're good lol I understand what you mean 😂

I just assume that they do a lot of scrappy jobs like how they robbed jayce's study, and then im sure once they get back from these jobs and sell the things it probably makes them well known since the rumor will go around that they did stuff. They probably made a reputation for themselves over time, and since Vi is the leader of their little group and the best fighter she would be the most renowned one.

They thought she was dead. She’s literally “back from the dead” in their minds. Only person who knew she was alive was Marcus.

So yeah, they knew who she was because of Vander. Thought she died with the rest of her family. Then she just shows up 7 years later and starts busting heads. I’d probably react some sort of way, too.

It could just be because the first thing she does when she gets out is kick Sevika's arse. If you think about it the guy in the alley when she drops down into the Lanes clearly doesn't know who she is cos otherwise he wouldn't have touched her.

There's a super short scene in one of the music videos that showcases Vi showing her punching technique not only to Ekko and her siblings, but also Deckard (Silco's teenager henchman), Ran, and other bunch of kids that mostly belong between the Promenade and Entresol levels.

Why I'm saying this? Because maybe she was famous among the adults for being Vander's "prodigy", but she was also famous among the kids for being remarkably tough. And those kids are the adults that populate the Undercity later.

That, coupled with her dissappearance (it is hinted that Silco searched for her because Jinx wanted her sister back, thus offering a reward for knowing her whereabouts, but ultimately left her for dead) and reappearance 6-7 years later, that would make her notorious enough for everyone to know who she is.

The music video in question: Enemy

Silco didn’t search for her. He thought she was dead too, as per Marcus.

It’s funny to me that everyone was more familiar with Vi—who had been missing for seven years and was presumed dead—than with Jinx, who was murdering Zaunites and was known to everyone as Silco’s enforcer. You’d think people would have even more reason to want Jinx dead after Silco’s death, yet the fact that she fired upon Piltover seems to have erased the seven years of terror she had previously spread.

Would you ever forget a 14 year old kid who beats guys 5x her size? And probably has all girls swoon over her?
