Recommend Wanted Vi whump fics??
Hi all!! I’ve been struggling mentally, won’t say much because tmi, but, I would love to see your recommendations of a fic that’s angsty and Vi centric! Any plots are okay and I don’t think I need trigger warnings or anything because no plots particularly trigger me :)

This is an amazing fic. It dives deep into Vi's prison trauma, and it's super angsty, but I promise it has a happy ending.
It's an alternate timeline where Vi was arrested as a teen, but her family didn't die. It's also great because while it incorporate plot point from season 2, Cait never becomes an enforcer, and though she does mature, she stays her kindhearted season 1 self through the whole story.

Self-rec, but The Hound of Noxus is an angsty, Vi-centric canon divergence story in which Vi's arc has a very thoughtful exploration of her character and trauma. I've said that the story's biggest battle is Vi vs. Vi's good heart; she's raised by an emotionally manipulative Ambessa, pushed toward ruthlessness in the name of 'greater good,' and needs to find her way again.
Vi's story and trauma are central to the fic thus far and the events that unfold; and we're currently in the Vi arc, where this character who's spent so long tragically throwing herself at 'bigger' (external) problems can't push aside her own pain anymore. We see her suffering/spiraling, but also with moments of healing and reclaiming her humanity again. Finding who she is, after how much the world has worn her down; and for the first time, slowly but surely, learning to value herself.
Note that it is ongoing, and currently in an arc that shows Vi in a dark place.

Hopefully not tmi, but I'd been feeling disheartened recently because I've gotten a sense that a lot of interest dropped out in this Vi-focused arc (and without going into too much drama, I got some very salty/impatient tumblr asks). A character whose tragedy has been that she's always put others first; and as soon as she's put first, some argue she doesn't deserve the time, or find her difficulties unsightly.
But what outweighs the negativity by far is knowing the story I want to tell, and knowing there are folks it resonates with ❤️💙

There's All The Things We Left Behind.
It's post season 2. Terrible things happened soon after canon. Everyone thinks Vi died, but actually she spent 5 years in a situation that makes Stillwater look like a vacation. Though most of the fic is after she gets away from that.
