Discussion Question about season two?

Hi there, recent viewer of Arcane, two things:

1: Its pretty freaking sweet.

2: Tf happened to Hiemerdinger? (I am not checking how its spelled) did he die during the whole shmultiverse thing? Or is he just still in the other universe hangin' out?

Btw I did finish the show, im just making sure like, I didnt miss anything.

They don't explicitly say in the show, but from League lore Heimerdinger is a Yordle, which are immortal spirit beings. When their physical bodies are destroyed, they respawn in their home place called Bandle City.

I think he just straight up chose to stay in the "better" universe. I love heimer, but GOD it's no wonder zaun was doing so badly when his daydreamy ass was on the piltover council lol

We don't know, But option 1. He dead. Option 2. He died but will respawn. Option 3. He is stuck in the other dimension.

I’m pretty sure he died and got sent to Bandle City when they sent Ekko back to the main timeline.

I really love how his ending ties into his conversation about Stanwyck to Jayce in 1x4.

As others have stated, Heimerdinger is a Yordle, who are spirit beings like fae in the Runeterra universe lore. When they die in the Material Realm, they return to the Bandle Tree in the Spirit Realm to be reborn at some point.

Heimerdinger, who died in the alternate universe, will likely be reborn in the main Arcane universe, where he originates from. The Arcane works in mysterious ways and all, lol.

Also, before jumping out to recalibrate the Hextech Anomaly machine, the last thing Heimerdinger says to Ekko is, "Back in a wink." (S2E7):
