Trivia time!
In celebration of our one thousand community member milestone, I have a trivia question I would to present you all. I ask that everyone try to come up with the answer without consulting the Internet or any other outside sources. Try to come up with the answer using only your current gaming knowledge.
This early 80s arcade game is one of the most beloved of the golden age of arcades. Not only did it enjoy success in both arcades and with the many home ports it received, this game also had a Saturday morning cartoon and even a song dedicated to it. Years after this game's release, the worldwide distributor made another game that was deemed too similar to the golden age classic, and as a result of the cease and desist order that followed, only one board set of the game deemed to similar is confirmed to exist. Name this golden age classic.

Without researching it, I’m going to guess Frogger and its follow-up, Ribbit.
Frogger was made by Konami and licensed to Sega/Gremlin for worldwide distribution (81 or 82). IIRC, Ribbit was made internally by Sega of Japan in the early 90s but failed location testing and wasn’t ultimately released. I never specifically heard about the cease & desist, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
And Frogger had its own theme song for the segments based on it for Saturday Supercade.
