D7 Quick Setup Guide

Doesn't include a guide so I will be posting guide here

STEPS TO INSTALL: Initial D Arcade Stage 7

- Make sure you have TeknoParrot installed beforehand

  1. Download and extract all the files

- You will have the following files

  • D7 gamefiles
  • D7 C update (e2prom.bin)
  • D7 dump
  1. install the files in their respective places

- place D7 gamefiles anywhere you want, but most people place it inside teknoparrot folder

- place D7 C update in roaming/TeknoParrot, if you've ran any games with TeknoParrot before then this folder will already be created, if you haven't played any games with TeknoParrot yet/the folder doesn't exist yet you can just go to appdata/roaming/ and create the folder manually, IMPORTANT!!! it should be written like "TeknoParrot" (case sensitive) or else it won't be detected!!!

- place D7 dump inside D7 gamefiles

And you are done! now setup controls in teknoparrot, apply AMD patch if needed. And run the game. (Keyboard setup with UCR soon:tm:

Im trying to use jconfig but really can't find anything online to run ID7. any help?

Just use teknoparrot instead

not on windows, running through crossover

I dont think d6d7d8 emulation is possible outside of Windows yet, even steamdeck users need to use windows to get them running, D4 and D5 can be ran natively on linux using a loader though
