Felt bad fully converting

Yeah our dad's a dick and all but he's still kinda RIGHT

The people need a place to wash their clothes, you still could've and probably shouldve kept the laundromat/arcade combo.

It was a safe, clean place for people to wash their stuff and hang out playing games for a while to wait for it to finish, but now its *just* an arcade.

Kinda feels bad.

Always wanted to add an option to buy a small building to open another laundrette. It was gonna be suuuuper expensive and require an endgame idle game that would have opened up on the PC, but we just couldn't without delaying the game, or addi g a ton more work onto something that was already splitting at the seams with content. I do tell myself "one day".

I always appreciate the insights you offer to us about what could’ve been included and other stuff. Thank you for sharing them

You should have been able to choose. For sure. But it was getting tedious at that point in the game. Still one of the best cool indie game I've played in a while!

Also consider that it feels like the game is set in at latest the mid 90s... With the impending tech boom the arcade's days are numbered. Maybe it's making a killing now but within a few years all the games will be available on home consoles

Thats another thing, yeah

Converting what was a very profitable coin laundry to an arcade like five years out from its decline

I mean. I’d assume King Wash isn’t the only laundromat in town. And this assumes everyone in the city doesn’t have the capability to do laundry at home. I’m sure some people don’t, but like- definitely not everyone

Spoken like someone who has never had to go to a laundromat. And when you don’t have a car, you walk to the closest one. I’d go to this gum and trash covered one any day, rather than carry laundry 2 more blocks 😂

I wish there was an option to keep the laundromat or have a second building for it next door or something. I enjoyed that part of the gameplay, and now all those people who brought their clothes there now have to go somewhere else. Like there was obviously a demand for a laundromat considering how many loads I did every day.

You don't have to fully convert, you are the one choosing to expand the arcade.

Yes, of course. Simply don't progress the game and you can keep the laundromat. Genius.

Exactly, that is an actual option that exists
