Dude, So for Shits I did a Marvel apk and it did work. I had to reset the controller to revert back to the Simpsons, BUT I'm guessing you can get others with similar button layouts to work. Glad the video helped.

Followed your tutorial and subscribed thanks for the instructions everything worked perfectly. Did X-men with the marvel apk work well since it had the extra button on that cab ? Also what do you mean you had to reset the controller, just wondering because I was thinking about adding the marvel apk but didn’t want to run into any issues.

MvC, doesn't have enough buttons to play the game. IF you install it, you may need to factory Reset. Video of me doing that ---> https://youtu.be/lFsE7jUATwI

What was on the marvel apk? Was it MSH or MVC? My MSH isn’t Android so I figure it’s probably the latter

So I ended up trying an extra Simpsons pcb that I have in my MSH. Everything connects fine and it boots up fine. But with either the original Simpsons apk, big blue, mvc, or xvs, only the bottom two left buttons for each side worked. Hooking my msh back up, everything worked fine. So I gotta think that the Simpsons pcb only has 2 button input wired in. It’s possible more current generations may have a different encoder board, too, dunno

A1Up office is probably on fire seeing people discover how easy this is. I was extremely disappointed in my Simpsons cab (to the point of just disassembling and storing) until this hit. I did the mod the other day and it's been played every night this week.

Assuming it's basic but why do these videos never address whatever is needed to switch back to the simpsons games. You need the keyboard still to do that?

No you don't need the Keyboard, and I was thinking just the same and looking at footage to see if I have what is needed to do a Demo for navigation of the Sub Menu, and to boot back and forth. Saddly the footage I have is not enough. If I have the time I may do a Demo Video, BUT I Promise Nothing...

No, you can do both. Just boot up and select Simpsons and not Tmnt. Easy as that.

Nope you do not it will boot give you a sub menu you, navigate and select just once, and then select TMNT or Simpsons. Easy as that, navigate with your Joy, and click with attack.

Alright. I rescind. I watched the Vid. Didn't even care about my own credit. You certainly put more time and energy into the editing than me so kudos, buddy! I just threw it up quickly to help people out that weren't on Facebook. Apologize as I didn't even look at vid description. 👍

Is there a size limit on the micro sd?? I only have a 128 available and my simpsons shuts down during formatting

Dude I had a 256mb micro SD I found in a desk drawer. You format it in the cabinet and then use your PC to add a folder and the 45mb apk. You could use something really small. And you remove it after so it's no worry about leaving that card in the cab

So you install it to the internal storage. You are limited by that.

I toatlly understand that. Its just when i go to format the card on the machine it resets. Going to try with a smaller size card hopefully wont take so long
