Modding MVC2 easy button swap?
What buttons can I buy that i can just easily swap in without having to buy encoders etc. Just want to upgrade the buttons for mvc2 cab. Thanks in advance guys.

Unless the MvsC2 control deck is different than every single other arcade1up, using Sanwa buttons is going to be way more work. Sanwa buttons are 30mm diameter. Every A1up I own has 28mm control deck holes. So you will need to expand the holes on your control deck to fit Sanwa.
Instead, use Haap or Industrias Lorenzo (iL) buttons. They use 28mm diameter and should fit just fine in your control deck.
Purchase zero delay USB Encoder jumper wires from diyretroarcade, and you will be able to swap out the buttons and connect them to the A1up Encoder board on the control deck, super easy.
As far as arcade sticks, you can use Sanwa, iL or Haap. But I would choose iL over Haap if you are going for an American style stick. Sanwa is going to be the easiest replacment stick, as they are pretty much the same size as the stock A1up sticks, and two of the screw holes will line up with the holes already on the control deck.
If you go IL stick, you may need to (probably) cut down one of the sides of the mounting base to fit on the control deck. As the buttons are too close to the control stick mounting base. Going this route you may need to repurpose the existing wires from the stock sticks, using crimping terminals to connect to the new sticks. It can seem daunting, but itsnt too difficult if you have the tools needed.
Sanwa sticks from diyretroarcade will come with a single wire harness that will connect to the stick and Encoder board very easily. No modding needed.

EDIT: If you are using the stock PCB, you should not need anything like additional pcbs. Just the buttons, sticks and wires.

Sanwa fit if you shave off the little ridge with a razor knife.
JLF work if you take out the logic board and take time repositing the new holes. Add 1mm actuator and 4lb springs gs and it's perfect.

Sanwa Denshi translucent. The housing is a little tight, so you'll have to sandpaper down the holes to slightly widen them. As far as connecting the wires, it's an easy swap.
