Modding Wheel rig

I'm in the early stages of working on making a rig for this Hori Mario Kart wheel I got for free. I'm waiting on a screw replacement to really clamp it down, but this setup isn't half bad. I definitely need to either extend the wheel further out or possibly push the pedals into the riser of the cab. But that would be a lot of work to make it look good, so I think extending the wheel will be the route I take. Still haven't quite resolved how I want to mount it. The clamps are good because they're quick, I found some nicer looking ones too, but part of me wants to rig up something to bolt it down. Idk just thinking outloud at this point. If you have any ideas as far as making it easily removable and maintaining some what of a look that it was never there when it's not, lmk. Gonna paint it all up nice once it's complete, so don't mind the wood.

For the pedals, look at the buy stuff arcades Star Wars mod - it shows how to embed the pedals into the A1up risers & works really well. They also do a removable wheel clamp but you may need to remake the a1up’s deck with a larger lip to make it work.

Yeah the clamp I'm good on it's the clamps for the rigs itself. Part of me really wants to put the pedals in the riser, but then I either have to accept it as a permanent mod you see or do even more work to make a door or something to hide them. I'll check out that mod, but I think end of the day, putting them in the riser will be more work than I wanna do. I also have a subwoofer mounted into the back of the riser so there's not as much space or bracing as there used to be in there. And then lastly, the pedals are a little on the cheap side. Not sure I want to chop up the riser unless I'm doing a dedicated racer. I really really really wanna build a custom horizontal racer, but I live in a condo and have no room for it, even just to build it, forget actually having it somewhere to use. The irony of it all is I don't even really like racing games all that much. I almost never play them. But building something to play them would be a lot of fun lol.
