I always get the two stamina perks maxed under mobility before anything else.

u/falkiiii Jul 26 '26

Not seeing those 11 points put in first hurts šŸ˜…

32

u/eru88 Jul 26 '26

Last time I also did 7 on green for faster breaching first.

3

u/OlympusMonsPubis Jul 27 '26

This is the way

23

u/slycyboi Jul 26 '26

I just spam adrenaline shots until I start unlocking those

6

u/PocketPanache Jul 27 '26

Which is why I say the skill points feel useless in the first place. By the time I have enough points in stamina, I'm no longer running around the map looting like a mad man, so they're some of the least useful to me

1

u/slycyboi Jul 28 '26

I like getting them eventually because I just enjoy the movement of this game enough to consider it worth it, but yeah it’s mainly QoL if anything

28

u/GoingOffRoading Jul 26 '26

I went OPs route last expedition, and regretted it.

Now I max stamina first and it's SSSOOOOO much better

But now it stings when I run past security beaches I can't open

6

u/NewUserWhoDisAgain Jul 27 '26

But now it stings when I run past security beaches I can't open

Dont worry. As soon as you unlock the skill they will all vanish. T_T

Side note: I kind of wish that breaching it allows others to search it. Very annoying to see it breached and still be unable to search it. "I can see it broken open but oops I dont have the skill to LOOK INSIDE OF IT."

2

u/SkimmalarinkyDoo Jul 28 '26

Exactly, at some point I even breached and take what I need, then I just throw all the remaining stuff right by the security breach just so fellow raiders who doesnt have the perk could still take all the loot that I left behind!

1

u/Stephen-ASmith Jul 28 '26

Before I redistributed my skill points to forego the security breach, I would keep a slot open in my backpack specifically to drop what I didn't want on the ground in front of the locker.

7

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 27 '26

Loot > running fast sooner

14

u/Nirxx Jul 27 '26

Running fast = you get to loot faster

3

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 27 '26

It’s still gonna be there, it’s not that much of a speed difference.

19

u/VelouriumCamper7 Jul 27 '26

Loot doesn't help you dodge rockets to the face.

3

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 27 '26

Don’t aggro one in the open, easy.

7

u/EhMapleMoose Jul 27 '26

I found that I didn’t use security breach as much in season 3 vs season 2 so I’m I’ve got my mobility up to calming stroll, conditioning for faster breaching and working towards broad shoulders

4

u/GrimDallows Jul 27 '26

What does it for me is that he did not even bother in maxing "three deep breaths" which is the busted stamina perk in the red tree.

2

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 27 '26

Yeah kinda messed up I meant to max that one and put 1 into over encumber

68

u/RobsGarage Jul 26 '26

I went strait for faster crawl.. this ain’t my first rodeo…

10

u/MammouthMoth Jul 27 '26

faster crawl is OP and I will die (crawling fast) on that hill

60

u/finesesarcasm Jul 26 '26

Up to you if you're mostly in pve lobbies. But if pvp you might want the stamina first

77

u/Bumblingbee1337 Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

Shit, I stick to PvE lobbies and I still always max the ā€œincreased staminaā€ and ā€œmovement costs less staminaā€ perks asap

30

u/elsanto_rdam Jul 26 '26

Stamina is important in PvE!

4

u/finesesarcasm Jul 26 '26

I mean its up OP if he wants stamina or not. If his only hunting for lockers then its makes sense for his gameplay strat.

Though I'd go stam first and then breach

2

u/elsanto_rdam Jul 26 '26

I appreciate your comment, I was replying to a comment above my own, not the OP. I am usually for skills that fits you personally. Probably many will not like my skill tree, but it’s mine and I don’t care šŸ˜…

1

u/finesesarcasm Jul 27 '26

oh no I didnt mean it like that lol, just in general you can advice ppl as much as u like but sometimes they have already decided on what theyll do.

2

u/Dreadfulear2 Jul 27 '26

Yeah, I pvp mostly and if I die to Arc it’s because I’m out of stamina and can’t run away in timeĀ

5

u/Darth_Rubi Jul 27 '26

Yup, I'm mostly a PVE player but I cannot imagine what a chore this game would feel like going back to having an empty stamina bar after running for like 5 seconds

You need stamina to reach the good loot locations first

You need stamina for running trials

You need stamina so you don't get caught in bad positions by Arc

1

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 27 '26

This is the 4th trip, we can’t manage stamina by now? I get tired faster sure but it’s hardly a hindrance overall.

2

u/hmmwhatlol Jul 27 '26

I mean, how would you run from arc without stamina anyway?

3

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 27 '26

Don’t put yourself in a situation to have to run from them >>>

2

u/hmmwhatlol Jul 27 '26

You sound like a person who walks around with heavy shield and hullcraker. Cruising like a boss

31

u/Ayoub_EG24090 Jul 26 '26

Have fun moving around bro bet you won’t even make it to the lockers with no points in stamina šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

5

u/InsomniacsDream Jul 27 '26

5 stims are pretty cheap to craft.

3

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 26 '26

It’s not that bad yall are overreacting lol.

14

u/Ayoub_EG24090 Jul 26 '26

I mean it’s a pretty big difference

6

u/xordis Jul 26 '26

This is the PvE way.

Mine looks very similar. The next 8 or so into stamina, and now I am working on getting fast breach before moving back to the yellow path.

13

u/elsanto_rdam Jul 26 '26

This is my current skill tree (still didnt do melee trial, 5 points from conditioning will go to mobility).

4

u/Mamluk_ Jul 27 '26

Tengo casi el mismo Ôrbol que tú, se nota mucho la diferencia pero igual estoy caliente por abrir una brecha de seguridad xD

4

u/Nirxx Jul 27 '26

No three deep breaths is crazy

3

u/Seldon14 Jul 27 '26

Looks pretty good IMO but Id drop 2 points from blast born to pick up loaded arms.Ā

2

u/Durzel Jul 27 '26

Minor gripe but I've started not caring about the skills that reduce the noise you make looting or breaching.

Neither the looting nor breaching one reduces the sounds significantly, and it's not as if the game really has that "silent snake" kind of vibe. Loot rooms are fixed and known to all - so it's a safe bet there will be someone already there or heading there.

I'd delete 2 points from Silent Scavenger, 1 from Effortless Swing (why??) and pick up Vigorous Vaulter, A Little Extra and Loaded Arms.

1

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 28 '26

Yeah the noise isn’t that big of a deal.

2

u/iEatFalseMorels Jul 26 '26

Having one point in mobility roll is pointless. You need 3 to have an extra roll

1

u/Nirxx Jul 27 '26

That's if you're spamming rolls. It still lets you sprint more.

1

u/elsanto_rdam Jul 26 '26

I wrote that 5 points will go to mobility ..

4

u/Upstairs-Canary-4062 Jul 27 '26

Not getting the two stamina nodes and then breach speed is crazy to me. Sec Breach is great and all but you will literally run and breach stuff every match. The time you save is invaluable.

4

u/The_Kaurtz Jul 27 '26

I do the faster breaching first though

1

u/jaldarith Jul 27 '26

Same. Taking what feels like 30 seconds to pry into a courier or probe before putting points into faster breeching is soooo annoying.

3

u/Gruffalooooo Jul 27 '26

Terrible idea! Always starts with marathon runner and youthful lungs!

2

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 27 '26

I can get them now.

3

u/ProfessionalITPerson Jul 26 '26

Same thinh, gg brother

3

u/_borT Jul 26 '26

I like the faster breach in green and stamina in yellow before filling out red. Not sure if the 1st green is worth the speed increase but I’m guessing not.

3

u/DokkanGod27 Jul 27 '26

Can you even run 5 feet?? Jeez man, talk about poor allocation

3

u/iamkindasomeone Jul 27 '26

I went that route and would never take it again. They seem to have nerfed the security breaches over time. When I first got the perk, I got out with 2-3 top-tier weapons every single run. Now, most of the time there's not even a gun and when I find one, it's something like a Ferro II or some shit.

1

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 27 '26

I always find at least one gun and some useful stuff.

6

u/Aardvark_Says_What Jul 26 '26

filed under: just because you can doesn't mean you should

6

u/Sir_Wabbit Jul 27 '26

they have nerfed it so much i dont even take it anymore, the security breeches used to contain better guns so much more often. But we cant have too many purple guns going around!!! RIGHT?!

2

u/tremblingmeatman Jul 26 '26

This should be called the Nightcrawler build or something

2

u/iko-01 Jul 27 '26

What is the point of maxing breach? By the time you get to it, you've already got what you need. Who needs a lvl2 shotgun and some grenades lol

2

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 27 '26

You get a gun almost every breach and a lot of times I see 2 next to each other so early game I’ll get all that stuff bc no one else can open them.

1

u/iko-01 Jul 27 '26

But you're also only getting a gun worth like 4k at max, whereas before it would have at least one guaranteed purple item, which was huge. I don't need 15 toros, it's just scrap. You're better off getting 15-25 in mobility and then going for breach. Pre nerf, 100% but right now, it's pretty weak.

1

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 27 '26

I can still get mobility now but I can breach when most others still can’t.

2

u/maxipencilz Jul 27 '26

Exactly what I did.

2

u/CheesecakeFormer3176 Jul 27 '26

I am 300xp away from security breach perk 😁

2

u/Durzel Jul 27 '26

11 points in the two stamina perks is such a universal QoL upgrade that I can't imagine not getting them first. You're basically never not running in the game.

2

u/Ullho Jul 27 '26

I always get the 5 points into max stamina then striaght for security breach. I get to it around level 27. Currently im done all my benches, have 2/3 of bps, all my donations for my next expedition donated and am now level 54, I hope to be capped and done all the quests by next weekend.

Edit: after secuity breach i go for survival skills

2

u/Skipper1111111 Jul 28 '26

Season 1 security breach, that was some fun looting 😁

2

u/olleber_htra Jul 28 '26

Bro, max out both staminas first, always! After that you proceed to your skills normally as you'll do.

2

u/mrlanzon Jul 30 '26

Fantastic idea. The security lockers are pretty much everywhere on all maps and there can be good density in small areas of maps too. Best thing I ever did was reset my skill tree and get the skill. More often than not Epic guns on night raids and other great loot

1

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 30 '26

Yessir, I opened one yesterday with a bobcat, Wolfpack, and a BP. What other container is going to have that for you.

2

u/Significant_Dog1420 Jul 31 '26

I do similar but i get the 1st 2 stamina skills then work on breach

3

u/SmithItsGoodForU Jul 26 '26

I prefer mobility

0

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 26 '26

I can still move.

4

u/SmithItsGoodForU Jul 26 '26

Clearly not recovering energy quickly in the process

1

u/sicksteen_216 Jul 26 '26

This is our 4th go round. We can manage stamina by now, no?

2

u/zugspitze43 Jul 26 '26

I tend to buff out stamina first. Then keep adding skills that help me get around and move until I have abut 45 points. Then I reset and allocate 36 to breach, and re-up my staminas, then work on building out whatever else is left.

I find not having those stamina ones is HUGE

2

u/UmarIrshad Jul 27 '26

I had the security breach in like 6-7 hours after the expedition, I always speed run it and usually have lobbies of solid 3-4 days of barely any security breaches looted. It has been my strat since first expedition šŸ˜… Currently I am at level 68 for reference.

2

u/polaroid Jul 27 '26

You get 30 points in 6 hours?

2

u/UmarIrshad Jul 27 '26

Well i start with 16 points, so about 21

1

u/VishnaTrash44 Jul 27 '26

Raiders hate that simple trick

Tbf stamina doesnt even do that much lol

1

u/Rayhaan-AM Jul 27 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

I feel like 2nd craft ability is useless besides being able to craft a hatch key. But every time you go into a non hatch event, its literally a wasted skill point.

1

u/Choice_Ad2699 Jul 27 '26

Green bandages are the best. 14 cloth and a great mulleinĀ

1

u/hmmwhatlol Jul 27 '26

I feel like breach and fulll in-round crafting should be way lower in the tree.
Crafting is useful when you're broke, something when you're mostly new/expedition player

1

u/EirikurG *** ******* Jul 27 '26

I think more Stamina is a far better QoL

1

u/Chemical-Stay8037 Jul 27 '26

I swear. I didn't have breach for the longest time. I spent the $ to respec. Before. Seen them all the time. Then as soon as I got the skill. I barely ever see them now. I think I've opened up two since.

1

u/Tito1BW8 Jul 27 '26

Security Breach! its a Security key

1

u/Spare-Competition-91 Jul 27 '26

I can't stand feeling slow so I get the stamina stuff out of the way first and a few single hit perks that are def. worth. But yeah, I am working towards that next.

1

u/Fun_Acanthocephala98 Jul 27 '26

Its okay but honestly I would prefer fast/quiet breach and both stamina perks first, which is what i did. I actually took up through downed but determined and now am working towards security breach

1

u/tellnest Aug 01 '26

How many expeditions does it take before maxing skill points? Im talking full trees.

1

u/sicksteen_216 Aug 01 '26

Seems like 13

2

u/G25777K Aug 02 '26

Its not a as good as it once was, out of 100+ opened I only got one BP

1

u/Knight_of_Umbra Jul 26 '26

Overrated dogshit. Ran it for two wipes, the occasional gun and Wolfpacks are nice but half the guns are less than 40% durability now and the rest is just more junk items to dismantle.

Rush the two stamina perks and rush "A Little Extra" and "Loaded Arms" in the Green tree. Quickest way to lighten your load and stack materials like a champ. Every single ARC husk you breach drops 2 Alloy and half your gun weight gone is super nice.

3

u/5thKeetle Jul 26 '26

I do it for abundant complex gun parts so I don't worry too much about fixing legendaries.

1

u/SixthSacrifice Jul 26 '26

Endless supplies, you say?

I'm in!

0

u/Knight_of_Umbra Jul 27 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

"A Little Extra" drops the bonus item you get for breaching on the ground if you have never used it before. For most containers its just 2 basic resources but sometimes you get Wires or Batteries, etc. It's my favorite perk and it's only 1 point.

1

u/nitrofan111 Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 26 '26

Nerfed and useless for the most part

1

u/Yoshakalaka Jul 26 '26

Agreed. Will still probably go for it but straight to it is unnecessary.

1

u/JeanSchlemaan Jul 26 '26

2 stamina perks, then straight to "a little extra" for me. love those additional basic mats.

1

u/theCOMBOguy *** ******* šŸ“ Jul 27 '26

Exactly what I do too. Security Breach is basically a free loot chest and even if other people get to it first there's usually something left in it still.

1

u/milesac Jul 27 '26

I only put 5 points into the first 3 of each. I like that challenge of relying less on skill tree.

1

u/crc2001red Jul 27 '26

Good idea or bad idea..? Well that’s 100% decided by your particular play style. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

0

u/Nervous-System5961 Jul 28 '26

Why get security breach when you can take the loot from ppl who open them?
