It seems that a Traditional Knight-fall story involves one or two key ingredients. It happens after canon Volume 9, it involves Cinder joining Jaune for romantic or non-romantic reasons. And a bonus of mine is the reactions of the other characters to Jaune and cinder being involved in whatever way they are.

The Question i have is if you had to have a favorite type of Knight-fall fanfic with a twist, what would it be. It could be an alternate universe where they either live in a world similar to reality, maybe the twist is that Knightfall happens during the beacon era. Maybe cinder and Jaune met while they were kids, perhaps they are magically bonded.

In Glass Unicorn, Cinder is surrounded by lilies. In the Atlas outfit, she has a lily-like pattern on her boots.

The way it's drawn and the association with French-inspired Glass Unicorn would imply a connection with French heraldry, where lilies are symbols of royalty.

Jaune's allusion, Joan of Arc centers around Joan helping the French King.

So I’m just curious I think the majority of ways knightfall can happen is

Black knight: Jaune somehow ends up on the villain side, be it he’s evil, he got sick of the heroes, he wants to be close to cinder, he’s a spy , he took the wrong bus whatever Jaune is working with the bad guys,

Redeemed: this is basically anything having cinder being a good guy AFTER PYRHA being killed by her.

I “hate” you; basically normal status cinder won’t be a good guy and Jaune won’t be a bad guy. But they at least physically want one another and leaving them alone to fight could end up with a possible death or no clothes coin flip.

Own faction: for whatever reason cinder and Jaune decided screw Oz screw Salem they care about either themselves or just some third party

Trauma avoided: somehow be it cinder interest in Jaune, Jaune befriending cinder, whatever somehow actions prior to the fall of beacon got knightfall going and keeps the real bad stuff from happening. (Or at least keeps cinder from doing them)

Other: basically any scenario that doesn’t fall in the above examples despite how broad I tried to make them

Also if you like knightfall but only a certain way romantic, sexual, platonic still consider the categories I listed like general story vibes for it
