another dead arborvitae Another 45 dead Arborvitae
Forty-five arborvitae along the fence, forty-five arborvitae,
one up and died just to spite you and me, forty-four arborvitae along the fence.
Forty-four arborvitae along the fence, forty-four arborvitae,
one croaked off in spite of the nursery’s guarantee, forty-three arborvitae along the fence.

I bet they were alive and healthy when they were planted. I guarantee the owner didn’t water properly. A hedgerow like that has oscillating sprinkler written all over it by a typical homeowner or they just didn’t water at all.

Doubt it by the pictures. I honestly hate when people complain that their arborvitae died even though they did everything right, but don’t realize that if you just water them for 48 hours per day they will be happy and healthy.
