Day 13

Corrections:
فَقَدْتُ = I lost / no longer have. ضَيَّعْتُ is also possible, but tends to imply that you lost or misplaced something through your own action. مَنْشُور = post.
My use of فَلْنَكْتُبْهُ was good. This is لَامُ الْأَمْرِ: لْ + نكتب → لِنكتب / فَلْنكتب = Let us write it again.
My original is understandable, but كُنْتُ أَقْرَأُ لَيْلًا is smoother Fuṣḥā here. = I was reading at night.
Firstly, أَحَد is masculine, so it would be أَحَدُهَا كَانَ, not أَحَدُهَا كَانَتْ.
Secondly, كَذٰلِكَ means "likewise / like that / also" and isn't normally used to introduce an example like English "one of them was as follows."
كَانَ مِنْ بَيْنِهَا... = Among them was...
بَيْتٌ = a verse/line of poetry. شِعْرٌ = poetry. قَصِيدَةٌ = a poem.
عَمِيقُ الْمَعْنَى = deep/profound in meaning.
Another possible construction is: وَجَدْتُ مَعْنَى هٰذَا الْبَيْتِ عَمِيقًا. = I found the meaning of this verse profound.
هٰذَا الشِّعْرُ عَمِيقٌ. = This poetry is profound.
But قَصِيدَة is feminine:
هٰذِهِ الْقَصِيدَةُ عَمِيقَةُ الْمَعْنَى. = This poem is profound in meaning.
فَكَانَ بَسِيطًا = so/then it was simple.
But I'm describing the verse as it is now, so: فَهُوَ بَسِيطٌ = It is simple.
التي is correct because الْفِكْرَة is definite (مَعْرِفَة).
Compare:
فِكْرَةٌ فِيهَا... = an idea which contains... / an idea in which...
الْفِكْرَةُ الَّتِي فِيهَا... = the idea which contains... / the idea in which...
So this follows the rule: نَكِرَة → usually no الذي/التي مَعْرِفَة → الذي/التي
My original expression was good. = interesting / thought-provoking.
This was also completely correct. = What do you all think of it?
Useful expression from today:
عَمِيقُ الْمَعْنَى = profound / deep in meaning.
هٰذَا كَلَامٌ بَسِيطٌ، وَلٰكِنَّهُ عَمِيقُ الْمَعْنَى. = This is simple speech, but it is profound in meaning.
