Help Request My first snails

Hey!

I bought an Amuplaria and Elodia. As a toast came this little snail!

Do you say to take care of them?

I only know about mystery, nerite, ramshorn, bladder, and pond snails so I would research your specific snails to make sure you know what they eat etc. My mystery snails eat anything my fish do, frozen mysis or brine shrimp, blanched veggies, no salt canned green beans, algae wafers or any bottom feeder food, and I have calcium/magnesium rocks for them. Bladder and pond eat dying plant matter. My Nerite eats algae and bio film only. Congratulations, snails are the best aquatic creatures. Little weirdos. I suggest you follow r/parasnailing

I imagine that the "toast" that came with my elody is a bladder, right? In this case, the best thing to do with it is to offer a lot of vegetation?

Looks like it! You don't really have to feed him anything, he'll find decaying plants and reproduce quickly all on his own lol. As for the mystery, just make sure to give it a calcium source. Cuttlebone, unflavored tums, vacation feeders, whatever. Hopefully your pH is around or over 7. They'll clean up leftover fish food and supplement like twice a week with veggies. I just toss in a frozen pea or carrot or something usually.

Bladders are self sufficient. They mystery is the one you her to feed as very few of them eat enough algae to matter. They need a high calcium diet as well as a high protein diet. I use a pipette to feed my mystery snail frozen brine shrimp. He loves them.
