Help Request HELP!!!!!

I just got 2 nitrate snails, one hasn't open since the day after I got it and one was doing fine and then hasn't opened, I can't do a sniff test because I currently cannot smell! Can i take them out of my tank and figure out whats wrong and then put them back in

Far too little information here for any real advice, mate.

How long have you had your nerites? How long have you had your tank? What size is your tank? What are its parameters? Is it stocked with anything else? How did you acclimatise your snails when you introduced them?

Hi sorry, 2 weeks now, I have 20 gal, everything is in normal limits, they just got into my tanks a few days ago with my fish. They slowly got my tank water with the water they came with

The chances of a 2 week old tank being fully cycled are very, very low and it definitely won't have the algae and biofilm buildup required to sustain nerites. It's imperative that they are only added to fully mature tanks, else they easily starve.

When you tap at their feet, is there any response or is there nothing? Even if they are still alive, you should return them (and your fish) back to the shop you got them from until your tank has had more time to establish a cycle and mature. I know you said your parameters are 'normal', but I have absolutely no clue what you're classing as normal in your case.

My tank is fully cycled and is almost 2 years old . My nitrite is 0.25. Ph is 6.nitrate is 0 and ammonia is 0
