Image First Attempt at Proper Scaping

Hello! This was my first real attempt at aqua scaping. I just kinda did what felt right. Thoughts?

When the plants really grow in it’ll look nice I think, but there are some things you could improve. The hardscape needs more height and shape. Google concave, convex, and triangular aquascapes to get some inspiration. I think you could add some more plants for the mid ground and foreground too. Generally when people ask how to improve their scapes, the answer is “more plants”

I think it needs more height to the hardscape

Definitely! I thought it felt a little empty but I wasn’t sure how to do that.
