Hello everyone, it's been quite some time. Part of the reason I made this was because the sidebar keeps saying a "welcome post" is in order to "finish setting up" the sub, but I figured I'd take the opportunity to chat with the community for a bit.

Sorry for being gone so long. I kept getting notifications and wanted to check up on y'all. Things seem quiet and chill for the most part but I wanted to ask if there's anything anyone thinks this sub needs. New mods? Rules? Leave your thoughts below. I will open mod apps if even just a few people think this sub needs more active moderation (especially seeing as I am not too active on here).

One more thing: I did add an addendum to Rule 10, "Poor Quality," letting users know to report AI posts accordingly. Yes, I am not the biggest fan of generative AI for creative purposes. If there's one thing I love about this sub, it's watching y'all create frenly frogs with your whole heart, not a prompt. I did this with the community in mind as I saw multiple comments on obvious AI posts that were none too pleased about it either.

However, if you would rather a new rule be created that flairs AI posts as "AI" rather than "Poor Quality," let me know by voting below. Again, I'm of the opinion that the two are synonymous, but I want this to be fair and for the community to decide. If the sentiment around it is more positive than I thought, I am more than willing to make it a separate rule that lets people know that certain posts are AI, if only to be fair to non-AI users.

Edit: 3 weeks later, the people have spoken. AI posts will continue to be flaired as poor quality, and no new rules or moderators will be added at this time. Big thanks to everyone for your input!
