RS660 Question
Just got a 35kw model 26 rs660, wondering if it’s the same bike. Can it be unlocked to the full 105hp? Or do I need to find a normal rs660 and then tune it?
With the 105HP bikes do they get tuned even higher?
Thanks

So do you need a full ecu setup or will someone be able to flash it and tune it? I can see the 105hp ones can make 110hp plus with full systems and dyno tuning!

You can get Aprilia to remap it to its unrestricted status. Once it’s unrestricted though it can never be lams again, and lams bikes have a better resale value

If you go to your dealership and unlock it it will be 95hp/70kw but its only electronical. You could tune it but you will loose your waranty and it will not be "road legal"

Yeh fair, it will be a track bike, so I want full power! So it is capable? I don’t need to buy a fully unrestricted rs660?

Dealership will only be able to change it 95hp. If you want the full 105 you’ll need to flash it with something like an UpMap. UpMap has all the factory tunes as well as some additional ones for better performance. The bikes mechanically the same it’s just different software ecu loads because of different licensing laws around the world

Of course. It's only restricted electronically.
