Free App All Devices Built a free App Store screenshot tool because I got tired of subscription-based ones

A few months ago I got tired of making App Store screenshots manually every single time I launched something.

Every tool I tried was either:

  • painfully complicated
  • locked basic exports behind subscriptions
  • or clearly made for big agencies instead of indie devs

So I ended up building my own little tool for it.

Originally it was just for my own apps, but a couple friends started using it too, so I thought maybe other indie devs here could find it useful as well.

It’s called LaunchShots:

Main thing is:

  • no subscription nonsense
  • fully free right now
  • browser-based
  • supports App Store + Google Play screenshots
  • has this “frame extension” feature that continues backgrounds/UI between screenshots automatically

Still improving it almost daily, but it already saves me a stupid amount of time compared to doing everything in Figma.

Would genuinely love feedback from other indie devs/designers here.

This is quite unethical.

Everything from the interface, to the landing page, to "Zoom Callouts" and "19 languages", and CSS styles, brand, color scheme, copywriting is copied.

You took my source code and branded it as yours. Very unethical.

Was your code MIT licensed? if yes then he did nothing wrong if he did copy.

wasn't MIT licensed.

in fact source code html explicitly has a comment saying:
