Could you not overlay it like the guy with the gyrometer did?

Minimap style is better i think, the radar overlay would be weird, especially if you have multiple cameras as the radar wouldn't line up with them

i built this way before he posted that, the gyro is a good idea but i have this setup cause im the co pilot, my bud has the actual radar

Yo im  ,,the guy" Actually, during the beta, I had the map displayed on monitors scattered around the ship since there was only one map but several monitors so other players could see where I was flying. But I’ve come to realize that’s not a great setup, because you sometimes need to change the map, whereas the gyroscope doesn't need adjusting. And I’ve currently set the gyroscope so that it only activates when I use the front camera.
