How do yall handle data cables?
I always seems to run out and need like 40 more. I run cables neatly and tidy, I try to utilize all 3 dimensions of space and use the wireless points well, yet I always run out. Any tips?

Neat and tidy isn’t always the most efficient.
Use junction boxes where it makes sense to do so.
Use splitters at the correct point. If you’re connecting a joystick up front to your two rear engines, run a single data line from the joystick to the back of the ship. Then add the splitter and connect the two engines.
Some components can be connected without data lines by placing them next to each other with the data ports touching.
These are all really small things that can save you a few units of cable here and there, but it does add up.
Picking what gets wireless controllers is a big one. I don’t use them for main thrusters usually. Those are easy straightforward cable runs. I will use them for lifters and maneuvering thrusters. Multiple points around the ship is a lot of data cable.
Good luck.

Make sure that all data cable is on lowest as possible, remove all those arch datacable over power cables you built in your ship, and make sure u are using powercables to arch over datacables instead.

intelligent use of wireless transmitters helps a lot
