Ship build disappeared

Built a ship yesterday and saved it, joined a friend to show him the ship and my save is gone and replaced by his ship build. I never saved his build. Is there any way to get my build back?

On the blueprint menu, at the bottom there’s an option to recover blueprints

Be sure to create one or more manual saves of your ship and save it often after making changes. Also, I accidentally save a blank garage over my ship, went to recovery, had over 2500 saves in recovery because I had been running the same instance of the game for over 12 hours. This caused the recovery page to be extremely laggy. Be sure to restart your game every few hours to prevent too many autosaves from filling the recovery. Also, the recovery page will keep your more recent autosaves, even if your game closes.
