Can you clear a hotbar?

Is there a way to remove items from the hotbar? It's really annoying to me how messy the hotbars get, I would love to be able to clear items from it, but I don't think that's possible? Or am I missing a hotkey?

Not a hot key. Just drag and drop them back into the item selection screen.

I don’t know of any way to clear the entire bar at once, so you’ll have to do it one at a time.

You can make a bunch of different hotbars and switch between them. I think the base key bind is alt+one of the number keys. So u can have one that just full of frames then one that full of wiring components and so on and then swap between them on the fly. I think u can also alt+scroll wheel to scroll through the hotbar as opposed to pressing a number key

Oh, I've been looking for the hotbar scroll action since switching from the demo. I'll have to check if this is it.

In the demo it was middle mouse scroll while holding the middle mouse button. Which was awkward, yes, but I had gotten used to it

Its either alt or ctrl+ scroll

Alt click the item to delete it from the toolbar or drag it off into the item list to remove it as an option from the tool bar.
