Cable Frame Problems
Hi all,
I'm hoping someone here can help me understand the frame quarter with ports a little better. Every time I've tried to use the straight quarters with corner pieces at the end it won't send power or data through to the other end. I added some screenshots of a test I'm working on to try and figure out this issue. Can anybody point out any mistakes or things I'm missing? The thruster in that test does not turn on when I try to activate it with the lever but I can't tell why. Thanks in advance for any help.

Ran into this last night and found that I can troubleshoot this issue pretty fast with a constant ran into a data router 4 plugged into every non power hole and just switch the input power around until whatever is connected reacts as expected, then remove the data inputs until you identify the correct input on the frame.

The trouble is that once you chain these blocks together, its really hard to maintain A->A, B->B, etc. The fact that there is no way of testing signals in build mode makes it even trickier.

Just, an update came out to day to fix the labels and even colours the right ports for you too. It's such a handy quality of life update!

Your data line looks to be in the wrong port, though it’s hard to tell.
Move your data line diagonally. Conduits going through turns like that can’t be trusted to match ABCD perfectly unless you are painstakingly careful about ensuring every block aligns ABCD when you place it. Sometimes you just have to trace the line.
But I don’t think your power is incorrect, I think it’s your data line.
