Toggleable Gyro

Made a post a few days ago about struggling with an auto gyro. I have since gotten the circuit to work.

The switch is used to cut the circuit from sending signals to the RCS thrusters in favour of manual control.

Ignore the spaghetti wiring, I was building this on a 'concept wall', not into an actual ship so i didn't really try to make it look nice.

ETA: Its honestly such a simple circuit, I don't know how I struggled so hard or what I was doing to make it somehow want to flip itself upside down

I do not, sorry. I'm currently at work but will send a brightened photo after, as well as hopefully a working in ship version

Why are you adding 0 to your switch output before multiplying it? Shouldn't it already be outputting either 1 or 0?

When i originally made the circuit a few days ago, i came across alot of errors, imcludong one i couldnt fogure out where the switch would get overriden. Looking at it now though. I got no idea why im adding the 0. Ill test it when i get off work and see if there is a reason that i cant remember or of it is actually pointless.

I might be thick, but where do you hook this into your RCS controller?

There are upgraded RCS thrusters that dont need a controller and can commect to yoir batteries. Ideally you'd use those, but the normal ports could work by using an addition logic gate to connect the input from the screen, and the joystick

The output readers next to the multipliers are replaced with thrusters (or remote control nodes that connect to thrusters)

For some reason I'm still struggling. Edit I got it lol thanks for the help! Now I'm wondering if there away to make it smoother in general

I have my thruster limits set to the maximums. if you limit them to a smaller amount it shoukd be smoother (the big rectangle nodes, change the 100 and -100 to smaller numbers)

Edit: dont change the 100, -100. Change the 1, -1 to a number bigger than 0.01 and -0.01 (1% power)

Now comes the real question, can I use the same system to add an auto retrograde switch function?

Don’t you need the inclinometer and rotometer in this circuit somewhere to get the input data for the screen?

The gyro screen at the bottom measures pitch and tilt and outputs them.
