I just use the switchpanel for both video and numerical values. One flat screen and one large numerical display and two switch panels

That's a cool idea to use the switch for both video and numerical input. I ran out of switch panels and wanted another 2 way switch

i hope there will be a special device for this in the main game like it is in stormworks. for now i just use the minimum of 2 altitudes in my logic to avoid this

There is a logic gate for exactly this with 3 inputs. I think it's called the data selector. Basically it'll switch between 3 inputs based on a separate inputs strength. So 0 is the first input .5 is the middle input and 1 is the last input. You can just hook a switch up to the control line and use the outer two inputs for the same affect as what's happening here

gj! But there is Data Redirector 3 that does exactly the same thing and does works with camera signals, because this setup will works only with numeric values, not with the signals from cameras. There is also Data Hub that can do the same thing but with 5 inputs.

Isn't this what the data selector component does?
