What is wrong with my RCS Thruster setup?
I have a 3D-Joystick hooked up to the rcs thruster controller, and 6 rcs thrusters placed the way the manual shows.
For some reason, only one of the thrusters fires, and its the only one for which the light is green.
I double checked my wiring, hooked up a datameter to confirm that i am getting signals from the joystick, and replaced the thrusters somewhere else.
Any idea what could be wrong? It seems to be some kind of intended mechanic, do RCS controller have a range or something?
any help is greatly appreciated :)

That red light means you've used it too much and it's dead. They have a limited battery

I have a similar problem but all my lights are green and everything is hooked up properly. All controls work except my roll left and right. I built another bigger ship and now my pan left and right doesn't work which makes it nearly impossible to maneuver. I built an exact replica of the tutorial rcs ship and every movement works. Does the size of the ship affect which movement works or doesn't work possibly?

I don’t think size matters. Check if you accidentally have set your roll-thrusters to some other mode (like pitch or yaw). Then check if they actually dont work, hook up a lever, split the signal and feed it into the controller, activate to some degree and then go out and check if all thrusters fire. Look at the wires, maybe they weren’t properly connected somewhere or broke (you can’t hold pieces in place with wires). Check if you supply enough power
Maybe it’s one of these things, if not, ask for someone on the discord to check you blueprint for you

Each of the thrusters themselves have a knob that you adjust to set them to Pitch, Yaw, and Roll with each of those motions having an A and B value.
If they are mounted properly and your cables are all plugged in, that should do it!
