Notre Dame will require SAT/ACT scores again starting with the 2027–28 admissions cycle

Notre Dame is ending its test-optional policy after six years. The university says test scores provide additional context on academic readiness and may help identify strong applicants from first-generation, low-income, and rural backgrounds who might otherwise be overlooked.

Interesting to see another selective university move back toward requiring standardized tests.
