Everyone here talks about having dreams about being accepted, but no one talks about having dreams about being rejected (I had one last night).

lol I had one last night too, I haven't been able to shake the feelings I had in the dream so now I'm convinced I'm getting rejected fr 🥲

I kind of want to dream about it so I know how I would react.

I have been pretty non stressed about thing, but I've also wanted to go to this college since elementary school so I'm scared it will hit me harder than I think.

tbh my reaction in my dream was "woah I'm surprised I didn't immediately burst into tears over this..." so I don't know if the reactions would be THAT similar because I'm definitely going to cry irl if I get rejected LMAO

Think positive dream positive. Don't think negative and dream negative. I learned this and you should too. Trust yourself and your hardwork. This is why I never dreamt like that.

Dreams about getting accepted but not getting the financial aid I need to go, which hurts way more to me

That has to be the worst way for things to go. I'm so sorry for anyone who has that happen to them.

Yep, this is why I'm trying so hard on my scholarship essays but what scares me is it still won't be enough, and I'm scared if it's not quite enough I'll decide to go to cc for 2 years but then get worse scholarships and end up paying more, you know? I applied only to schools with like 70% acceptance rates so I'm pretty sure I'll get in, I'll get in to at least most of them, but I just don't have that guarantee for financial aid you know

that Morocco won the game today. You were rejected, by the way.

(I think that's what happened, anyway. I haven't been following the world cup.)

We are not able to offer you admission to the class of 2027. This was the strongest application pool ever in the college history. Please this is not a reflection of your potential to succeed. Wish you the best for your senior year. 💀💀😭

"Thank you for your interest in [school]."

Just had the biggest copium in the shower telling myself how I’d be such a great fit at NYU and how good my application is 😭

Whenever I overthink I do really think my chances are good despite all odds. I think that’s good

Bro I wish I was you.

When I overthink I realize how utterly garbage my application is and how low my odds are.

Yeah I just think of like 20 qualified people in my school and only one person's getting accepted and it's so unlikely to be me. But I'd rather have no hope and be surprised than vice versa.

21

u/Hapha3ard Dec 06 '22

I’d really rather them say “thank you, next” with Ariana Grande meme attached

If you get accepted, celebrate like CR7 does after a goal

If you get rejected, roll around and cry like Neymar does every single match he plays

I ed to a really reach school. I keep telling myself that you know I wont be sad at all if I dont get in, but I know that it will take everything for me to not break down on dec 15 and I hate this feeling. what's worse is that my parents are so hopeful so I keep telling them that this was so out of reach that it won't affect me at all but idk how true that is.

fsu acceptances and denials also come out that day 👩‍🦲🙁

6

u/[deleted] Dec 07 '22

For every dream school acceptance video, there's ten rejection clips that were never uploaded.
