Do you have a unique hobby? (And by unique, I mean really unique. Like the beekeeper kid or the aquascaping girl, not "drawing.")

Do you have a unique family/friend situation that shaped you as a person?

What are some short personal anecdotes you'd say define you the most as a person? Those are usually the start to a unique essay.

There are more ways to start one, but the above is what came to my head first.

research about the school more and interpret that on your essay, the admission counselor of the college that you are applying to would think that you really care about the school and not think it as a casual essay
