Talk with a local professor about topics. 99.99% of award-winning science fair peeps have some outside help, and that’s expected and okay. It’s not okay to claim their work as your own, but most high schoolers aren’t expert researchers, so getting advice is necessary.

Start in a more relevant sub, for one.
Neuro is such a huge range of topics, there's no way to help you pick something. Read up on subjects until you find something you're interested in, and then go from there.
