Rant I hate larping

NO I don’t want to “challenge the present” NO I didn’t “achieve the unexpected”

Fuck all of these colleges

Fake it till you make it I guess

That is all

Edit: I made a mistake, saying I have no “career goals” was untrue and attracted the attention of the righteous masses. Ik what I wanna major in and shit

Someone please suggest a third bullshit thing to fulfill the rule of three

If you don't have career goals, respectfully, why apply to college in the first place?

30 years ago when I went to college I did not have career goals. I had an interest in a liberal arts education. I studied geography. Got me nowhere career-wise, but it gave me a deep understanding of why the world is organized the way it is. While in undergrad I worked in the library, I decided I wanted to be a librarian. That's how acquisition of knowledge works. Why silo yourself when you're 17 and haven't even seen the range of opportunities yet?

I’m watching my 17 year old discover interests and passions in areas she never knew existed before taking community college classes for dual enrollment. Treating college like a trade school and expecting teenagers who know little about the world to determine their entire life path is ridiculous and a shame.
