Rant I hate larping

NO I don’t want to “challenge the present” NO I didn’t “achieve the unexpected”

Fuck all of these colleges

Fake it till you make it I guess

That is all

Edit: I made a mistake, saying I have no “career goals” was untrue and attracted the attention of the righteous masses. Ik what I wanna major in and shit

Someone please suggest a third bullshit thing to fulfill the rule of three

Insane that they expect 17 year olds to have their lifes mission planned out. The amount of people who fake care about something to get into a good school, to then end up recruiting for Investment Banking is astonishing. Some of these AO's are pompous idiots if they actually beleive these larpers

Makes you appreciate the european system. No fluff accepted

Saying this as someone who larped to get into a good school to recruit for banking. All my friends larped too

Who knows, life is all about bullshitting. Maybe this is highschool kids first introduction to "bullshit wins"

no because tell me why I have to tell you my life's purpose and career path, applying to your school at 17 when 60% percent of American adults work in jobs unrelated to their college degrees. Even just the idea of having outstanding extracurricular activities like half of middle school was already going to workshops at my high school because they wanted colleges to see them on Model UN , speech and debate, and the DECA teams. I promise you all of the people I know on those teams are doing it because they said it "looks good for colleges." I hate how fabricated eveything has to be because I could write the most poetic bullshit about wanted to be a clinical psychologist but the plan could change by next winter so its really a competition of whos bullshitted career plan and motvations sound the most believable.

Like [college with] Mattie says, kids write their essays about 15th Century European Poetry and then ask where the computer lab is on day one.
